Excellent motorcycle bluetooth/intercom system for the price. One small issue with the charging cable which was my fault. I lost/misplaced the orginal USB charging cable. If you try to use an another cable other than the one provided it would seem all but the orginal does not work. But don't despair. All you have to do is find a low profile USB connector or as I did in the photo, carefully trim back the plastic casing on your replacement USB cable and you're back in business. So, hold on to that charging cable that came with your bluetooth! If you do lose it like I did there is a work around. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product. Happy & Safe riding!
Design - Good looking units, nice finish. Easy to adjust volume and press buttons, even with gloves on.Installing on helmet - pretty straight forward, installed mine on HJC flip face full helmet using the mic boom with no issues. Metal clip seems more secure that a velcro strip would be.Setting up units - operational manual very inadequate. My motorcycle group bought six units, four of which inexplicitly powered off after five minutes. After much experimentation, I was able to determine thata) if the unit is not paired with another device like an iPhone and the FM mode is on, the unit will power offb) if the FM is off, and the unit is NOT paired with phone, the unit does NOT power off after five minutesc) if the unit is paired with a phone, and the FM is on, the unit does NOT power off.I contacted the manufacturer and they responded VERY quickly that they were going to discuss with their engineers the conclusions that I had made. They contacted me the very next day with comments that the units were, indeed, programmed to power off as a power-saving feature. They, however, realized that this feature was probably not needed and potentially very confusing. They have decided to re-program the units without the power-saving characteristic and these units would be available in September; Amazing customer-care attitude (which contributed to my five-star rating)Sound - quite clear with plenty of volume, on-the-road range was good. For me not being an audiophile, music play quality was acceptable. My full-face helmet obviously helped eliminate any background noise. My buddy's unit, installed on a 3/4 helmet with face shield, transmitted some engine noise but not excessively. My other buddy had trouble hearing at +60 mph speeds. We determined that his earphones were mounted a little distant from his ears, resulting in too much wind interference at the higher speeds.Connectivity/Battery Life - Have only tested with three units synced so far, but instructions seem to be adequate for this purpose. Procedure went well. Batteries lasted for a full day just fine. Will give it a multiple-day testing soon.Phone - auto-answer feature worked well. Must remember to temporarily turn off intercom for private conversationsCONCLUSIONS/COMMENTS:1. Don't understand why no one else had the five-minute powering-down issues we had. Guess everybody pairs their phone right away.2. Satisfied overall with the units, especially at this price point.3. Pleasantly surprised with manufacturer/seller support response times. I suggested to them to have an American company write their manual !4. Units have proved to be very handy for the various on-the-road decisions we encounter on every ride.
