EJEAS GY118 Industrial Intercom System

The EJEAS GY118 system has been a game changer for our construction crew. Communication across the site has become seamless, and the mesh technology ensures everyone stays connected. The only downside was a bit of a learning curve during the initial setup, but once configured, it worked flawlessly. The weatherproof design is a big plus, as it stands up well to outdoor conditions. Definitely worth the investment!

I purchased the set of 2 intercoms for our home in October. I live with a senior family member, and there's 3 floors in the house. Yelling doesn't really work, going up and down flights of stairs to check in or ask a quick question isnt practical, and while we can text, they don't always have their phone with them. I thought this would be a good way to check in with each other, and generally communicate when needed. It works great for our purposes. I have purchased a third intercom so we now have one on each floor. The sound quality is fine, think of what a decent walkie talkie sounds like, that's basically what this intercom is.

I'm sure there are more high end models with crystal clear sound and that work across longer distances - even other models by this same manufacturer- and different ways to communicate through your home, but for us, this works great. The value is great for this two pack, it's currently on sale for less then I purchased them for, but I'm satisfied with its quality at the price I paid, it's just right for what you're getting.

I'm giving these intercoms 5 stars because it's just what I expected, and pretty awesome for our family.

So, my goal was a simple way the family could talk to me from the chase vehicle. This was the answer for me. This paired with a Bluetooth speaker phone and bingo. They talk freely without interrupting their vibe with a headset on and I can converse back as if they are my passenger.

Also having it handy to toss to a buddy rider is cool too since they can just use their own headset. Be warned, their sound quality is reliant on their headset.

So, for intended use, a win. Yet to road test it much but time will tell. At least the backbone of my solution is there.

I use these as a soccer referee. When paired with Shokz BT headphones (OpenComm with the boom microphone), they are excellent for in-game communication. Since the Shokz are bone conduction, you'll still have full use of both ears-- even when someone is talking. There's also some noise cancellation going on, so you won't hear a full volume whistle, etc. Reception is generally great, though there is occasional interference at some venues (infrequent and doesn't restrict use of the system. Occasionally annoying, however.)

Because these are connected to the headphone via Bluetooth, you don't have any wires. You can put this reciever anywhere -- though the upper arm or upper body appears to work well. Along with the stability of the headset, you have a system that moves with you, and one that you don't need to adjust or put back in every 2 minutes. It's like they were designed to facilitate what referees do -- even if that's not what they were built for.

That said, these are the best set of referee coms I've used, and I've experienced almost all of them. The only complaint, and it's a small one, would be to eliminate the longer antenna and maybe find a way to run one around the outside of the module to cut down on the form factor. But other than that, these are fantastic.

I recently purchased the GY118 for instant communication with forklift drivers in the warehouse, and it has exceeded my expectations. The intercom's sound quality is impressively clear, making communication easy and efficient—exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, EJEAS!
